Program Details

SCHEDULE​​

Ampersand operates Monday through Friday, 9am to 3pm and offers 2- 5 day enrollment options.

​Rolling admission allows for individuals to enter the program as seats are available.

​

All individuals arrive between 9am and 10am and depart between 2:30pm and 3pm. Schedules will be on a 6 hour per day schedule, tiered according to transportation needs and requirements.

PROGRAM SIZE

We believe a small program allows for more time and support for individuals to work on the pathways of their choice. Our program will max at 15 individuals, 3 community partners, which is what we call support staff, and 1 community coordinator.

TUITION

Ampersand Community Services is a private pay, tuition-based, day program. Families are able to use Medicaid Waiver Home Based (HBS) Funding to pay for tuition. Ampersand will provide the necessary documentation for families using HBS funding. 

 

TRANSPORTATION​

Individuals may be dropped off at Ampersand Community Services or utilize public transportation. If an individual is using the Metra train, we can plan to meet them at the station and walk to Ampersand together or they walk independently.
